Dear Friends,
I decided to share with you some of the "Letters
from the Editor" I write for each issue of Radiance,
so that you can get to know more about me, as publisher of this magazine,
as a large woman, and as a kindred spirit on the path to greater body
acceptance and self-love.
 I
want to thank Linda, the manager of one of our local clothing stores
(Seams to Fit in Oakland) for her comment to me as I came into the store
the other day to do some business. "I love reading your column,"
she said. "It really means a lot to me." We did our work,
chatted a bit, I bought a few pairs of colorful, very cool magnifying
glasses (I'm over 40 you know!), and left feeling appreciative that she
shared that comment with me.
Others have said that, too, and I'm always a bit
surprised, but grateful that what I write helps another in their life.
That's what I aim for on all the pages of Radiance. So here you have the
last few year's worth of my editorials. Enjoy. Feel free to back with comments, questions, ideas, feelings, and so on!
