MAKING IT BIG, created in 1982 by Cynthia Riggs, is a natural fiber clothing company for large and supersize women. They specialize in garment-dyed cottons, both wovens and knits, washable rayons, linens, and ethnic prints. BIG ON BATIK
Big on Batik Sarongwear has been bringing you fashion and fun since 1996. Says owner Cathy Miller, “Last summer we introduced the very first batik bathing suits for large sizes! Everyone is raving about the eight foot matching sarong/pareo that comes with each suit.” This sarong is long enough to tie into any style you can imagine. The suits are 85% rayon, 15% Lycra. The sarong/pareo is 100% woven rayon. Our Sarongwear line of tops and jackets fit up to an 85-inch hip; dresses are sizes 20–34; Art Coats go to size 10X. All are made of 100% rayon and are machine washable (cold, delicate cycle, hang to dry).
